Unzip the download
Unzip the file you just downloaded, then move the restock-pro folder somewhere permanent like Documents.
Your browser loads the extension from this folder and doesn't copy it. If you leave it in Downloads and clear that folder later, ReStock Pro disappears.

Open your extensions page
Addresses that start with
chrome://can't be opened from a link, so copy this and paste it into your address bar. -

Turn on Developer mode, then Load unpacked
Flip Developer mode on in the top right. A new row of buttons appears — click Load unpacked and select the folder you unzipped in step 1.

Pin it and track your first drop
Click the puzzle-piece icon in your toolbar and pin ReStock Pro. Then paste a product URL, TCIN, or UPC and hit Start Monitoring.

Click Add to Chrome and confirm. ReStock Pro only checks the products you choose to track — nothing else.

Is ReStock Pro really free?
Yes. The free plan is permanent and includes the full dashboard, alerts, cloud sync, and CSV import/export. You can monitor up to 5 items at a time. Pro lifts that limit — everything else is already included.
Which browsers are supported?
Desktop Google Chrome is the primary target. Chromium-based browsers including Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Opera also work. The extension is desktop-only. On a phone, launch the browser beta, or save the Chrome Web Store link for a computer.
How do I install ReStock Pro?
Install it from the Chrome Web Store. Click Add to Chrome and confirm. Desktop Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Opera all work. On a phone, launch the browser beta — you can still save or share the store link for a computer.
I already loaded it from a zip. Do I need to switch?
Yes, if you used Developer mode and Load unpacked. The Chrome Web Store copy updates automatically. A sideloaded copy does not. Install from the store, then remove the old unpacked version at chrome://extensions.
Do I need an account to install it?
No. You can install and start tracking immediately. Signing in is optional and only exists so your list, settings, and plan stay in sync across the computers you use.
What does it do with my data?
ReStock Pro checks availability for the products you explicitly add and shows you notifications when status changes. It runs in your browser, doesn't buy anything on your behalf, and isn't affiliated with any retailer. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How fast are the alerts?
You control the scan interval, down to one second between cycles. Alerts fire as soon as a check detects the change, so speed comes down to your interval and connection rather than a queue on our side.
Can I move my list to another computer?
Yes. Sign in and your tracked items sync automatically. You can also export a CSV from one machine and import it on another — duplicates are skipped for you.
